The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has started accepting applications for Haryana police constable recruitment 2026 to fill 5,500 vacancies. Eligible candidates can apply for the Haryana police constable 2026 on the official website, hryssc.in, by January 25.
The Haryana police constable vacancies include 5,500 posts, of which 4,500 are for male constable posts, 600 for female constable posts, and 400 for railway police posts. No application fee is required for the Haryana police constable 2026 recruitment.
HSSC will announce the Haryana police constable 2026 exam dates and admit card release date soon.
To apply for Haryana police constable recruitment 2026, candidates should completed Class 12 or an equivalent exam from a recognised board, along with matric-level studies in Hindi or Sanskrit, and must have qualified the HSSC Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Group C exam.
Candidates should be between 18 and 25 years of age as of January 1, 2026, with age relaxations applicable to reserved categories as per Haryana government rules.

Haryana Police Constable 2026: Selection Process
The Haryana police constable 2026 selection process includes multiple stages. Candidates will be shortlisted based on CET Group C scores, followed by the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) to assess height and chest parameters, and lastly, the Physical Screening Test (PST), which will include a running test.
HSSC will shortlist candidates equal to ten times the number of advertised posts for each category among those who have qualified for PMT and PST to appear in the knowledge test. Candidates will have to undergo a knowledge test of 97% weightage comprising of objective type and MCQs. Each question will carry equal marks.
As per the official HSSC notice, candidates under the general category should secure atleast 50% marks and reserved candidates should score atleast 40% marks to pass the knowledge test.
