HP NEET 2024 extended registration for stray round closes tomorrow; counselling after cut-off reduction

Use NowNEW DELHI : The Atal Medical and Research University (AMRU) has extended the HP NEET PG 2024 registration for stray vacancy round counselling after reduction in qualifying percentile. Candidates can now register for HP NEET 2024 counselling through the official website, amruhp.ac.in, till tomorrow, March 5.
The NBEMS revised minimum qualifying percentile for all categories is 5 percentile .
“Subsequent to reduction of the minimum qualifying percentile criteria for NEET PG Counseling 2024 vide National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) Notice dated February 25, 2025, fresh applications are invited for admission in MD/MS course in medical colleges situated in Himachal Pradesh from March 4 to 5, up to 11:55 pm,” the AMRU notice reads.
Candidates will have to fill in their admission process and personal details to apply for HP NEET 2024 counselling for the extended stray vacancy round.
HP NEET 2024 seat allotment
AMRU conducts the HP NEET counselling on behalf of Himachal Pradesh 2025 state counselling for MBBS. Candidates who find their names on the merit list will be called for counselling process as per their merit ranks.
Candidates will have to make their choices of their preferred colleges and courses for the seat allotment process of HP NEET. The seats will be allotted based on the courses and colleges for MBBS admissions.
In January MCC had revised NEET PG qualifying cut-off and reduced it to 15 percentile for the general category and 10 percentile for the reserved categories. The Delhi High Court ordered the Centre to reduce NEET PG cut-off 2024 after hearing a petition filed by NEET PG candidates.
