HPCET 2025 registration starts at himtu.ac.in; exam on May 10, 11

HPCET 2025 registrations: The exam will be conducted on May 10, 11 and the application window will close on April 18.
NEW DELHI: Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) has invited applications for its various courses including BTech, MSc, and MBA programmes through the Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) 2025. Eligible candidates can fill out the application form through the official website, himtu.ac.in.
The university will close the HPCET 2025 registrations on April 18, 2025, and no application will be accepted after the last date.
The HPTU will conduct the HPCET 2025 exam on May 10 and May 11. The duration of the exam will be three hours and fifteen minutes and it will be a pen-and-paper-based test. Candidates will have to answer 150 objective multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, Biology.
HPCET 2025 Registrations: Eligibility criteria, application fee
Candidates should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized board or university with Physics and mathematics as mandatory subjects along with one of the chemistry, biotechnology, biology technical vocational subjects. Aspirants should have obtained a minimum of 45 % marks for the general category and 40 % for the reserved category.
The HPCET 2025 application fee for scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), and below poverty line (BLP) candidates is Rs 800. For other category students, the registration fee is Rs 1600.

HPCET 2025 Application Form: How to submit it?
Candidates can follow the steps given below to submit their application for HPCET 2025.
- Visit the official website of HPCET 2025, himtu.ac.in.
- On the home page, look out for the registration link and click on it.
- Fill in the required details such as name, email ID, date of birth and mobile number.
- After registration, the user id and password will be mailed to the candidate.
- Login using ID and password and fill in other relevant details such as personal, academic and contact information.
- Upload your scanned photographs and signatures as instructed.
- Pay the application fee through any one of the means; UPI, net banking, credit, or debit.
