HPPSC Lecturer Recruitment 2023 registration ends today at hppsc.hp.gov.in
The HPPSC is conducting Lecturer Recruitment 2023 for 585 vacancies of chemistry, physics, maths, economics, political science and other subjects.

NEW DELHI: The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) will close the registration window for the lecturer (school-new) recruitment 2023 today. Eligible candidates can apply for the 585 vacancies of various subjects on the official website, hppsc.hp.gov.in.
The HPPSC is conducting the recruitment process for filling 47 vacancies of commerce teachers, nine of biology, 29 of chemistry, 45 of physics, 41 of mathematics, 17 of economics, 102 of political science, 115 of history, 117 of Hindi and 63 of English.
Applicants will have to submit a registration fee of Rs 400 for applying for the HPPSC Lecturer Recruitment 2023. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC and EWS categories of Himachal Pradesh will have to pay Rs 100 as application fee.
Documents required
Candidates will have to upload their Class 10 certificate for age proof, Class 12 certificate, degree certificates along with marks sheets of all years and consolidated mark sheet, and certificate of BEd degree with mark sheets. They will also have to upload the category certificate(s) in support of their eligibility.
The exam will have two papers. Paper 1 will have 50 questions of two marks each: The paper will have four section general knowledge of Himachal Pradesh (30 marks), GK of national and international affairs (30 marks), Hindi (20 marks), English (20 marks). This paper will be a qualifying paper and candidates are required to obtain 35% pass marks in it. Paper 2 will be a subject aptitude test and will have objective type questions, which candidates will have to attempt in two hours. It will be of 100 marks as per the syllabus to be decided by the Commission from time to time.

Both the Papers will be conducted on the same day in morning and evening sessions at any place in Himachal Pradesh as per decision of the Commission.
