NEW DELHI: The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has extended the registration deadline for recruitment of various Constable (General Duty) vacancies till March 28. Interested candidates who have not yet applied can fill the HSSC GD constable application form through the official website, hssc.gov.in.
Earlier, the HSSC GD Constable application deadline was March 21, 2024. The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 6,000 vacancies of constables, of which 5,000 posts are for male constable and 1,000 posts are for female constable GD.

HSSC GD constable selection process
A written exam, knowledge test and a physical measurement test (PMT), and a physical standard test (PST) will be used to determine which candidates advance to the final round of selection. The knowledge test, which consists of multiple-choice questions is given 94.5% of the total weight during the selection process.
The commission will announce the HSSC GD constable exam date and time will be announced in due course of time. The HSSC GD constable admit card link will be activated on the official website, hssc.gov.in.
The candidate must have passed Class 12 from a recognised education board or institute. Candidate must also have passed Class 10 with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects. Apart from this, candidates should be between 18 to 25 years of as on February 1, 2024. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories will be given relaxations as per government norms.
