ICSE Class 10 semester 2 exam begins today; Here's important guidelines

Download NowNEW DELHI: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will conduct the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class 10 semester 2 examination from today, April 25. The ICSE 10th exam will begin with the English paper. The exams will be held till May 23.
ICSE term 2 exam timings will be from 11 am to 12:30 pm, giving 90 minutes for students to write the exam. Students will get extra 10 minutes to read the questions. Students are required to bring admit cards to the exam hall to be able to write the ICSE Class 10 term 2 exams 2022.

ICSE Exam: Important guidelines
Students should follow these exam-day instructions while appearing for the ICSE semester 2 exams:
- Reach the exam hall five minutes prior to the start time of the ICSE exam.
- A fountain pen or ball-point pen can be used for writing the answers. Pencils can be used only to draw diagrams in the ICSE board exam 2022.
- All entries on the ICSE exam answer booklet are to be made only with a black or blue ballpoint pen.
- Electronic devices, hands, desks or other types of calculating machines are not allowed inside the ICSE exam hall.
- Wear masks and practice social distancing at the ICSE exam centre.
- Answer only to the number of questions asked in the ICSE question paper.
- Sign on the space provided on the top sheet of the ICSE answer booklet. Do not scribble anything else on the top sheet.
- Write the UID, index number and subject name on the top sheet in the space provided. Write the same on the front page of each continuation booklet used and also on the loose maps, graph papers etc.

If any student is caught for unfair means in the ICSE board exam 2022, the result of the candidate will be cancelled as a whole. He or she will be reported to the CISCE chief executive and secretary and may be expelled from the examination hall and can also be prevented from writing subsequent examination papers.
