IIM Bangalore, FPSB India to jointly launch executive financial planning programme

IIM Bangalore: FPSB announced to offer five scholarships to students based on merit. Both the institutions will also co-curate initiatives and events.
NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM Bangalore) has announced its partnership with FPSB India to launch an executive programme in finance planning for both students and working professionals. The agreement aims to develop quality education and financial planning accessible to students.
FPSB India has announced to offer five scholarships to students on the basis of merit to students and certifications necessary for a successful career as a Certified Financial Planner professional. Both the institutions will also be organizing joint events, including workshops, seminars, and conferences, to foster knowledge exchange and networking opportunities for professionals and students alike, the official statement read.
IIM-B and FPSB India will jointly create Continuous Professional Development (CPD) resources and co-curate initiatives to make education accessible.
Speaking on the occasion, Krishan Mishra, CEO, FPSB India said: “This collaboration marks a significant milestone in our efforts to elevate the financial planning profession in India. By joining forces with IIM Bangalore, we aim to provide students with unparalleled opportunities to excel in the professional financial planning sector and contribute to the growth and development of the industry.”
IIM Bangalore director Rishikesha T Krishnan said: “We are happy to partner with FPSB India in our shared mission to bridge the gap between academia and industry in the field of personal finance. Together, we will leverage our combined expertise to empower future finance professionals with the skills and knowledge required to thrive in today's dynamic business environment.”
