IIM Indore announces IPMAT 2018 to be held on May 11 in new exam pattern

Check NowIIM Indore has announced the admission of five-year Integrated Programme in Management for 2018-23 batch. The admission will take place through Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT), which is scheduled to be held on May 11, 2018, in computer-based mode. The application forms for the exam are available from March 12, 2018. Candidates can fill up and submit the application form until April 18, 2018. This year, IIM Indore has included a new section of the written test which is Quantitative Ability- Short Answers. Along with this, the application fee has also been revised.

Application Process
The application process for IPMAT 2018 will be held in the online mode. The application form submission and the fee payment has to be done online itself. Compared to the previous year, the major changes incorporated for IPMAT 20187 is the Application Fee and the Exam Pattern. Applicants have to first register by filling up the registration form through which login credentials or Username and Password will be generated. Upon logging in, they have to complete the application process by filling in the details of the form. As for the application fee, the amount for General and NC-OBC category has been changed from 1400 to 3000 while the amount for the SC/ST and PWD category has been changed from700 to 1500.
Exam Pattern
The exam pattern from IPMAT 2018 will see three sections, unlike the previous year which had two sections. The section wise division of the exam pattern is given below.

Final Selection Procedure

IPMAT is conducted for the admissions to the Five- year Integrated MBA Programme offered by IIM Indore which offers 120 seats. Based on last year’s data, it is likely that around 17,000 candidates will appear for the test.
