IIM Jammu summer school for school students from June 27
Summer school programme by IIM Jammu intends to create awareness among students by providing them with a proper understanding of the business environment and trends.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu has announced its summer school programme for students of Classes 10, 11, and 12 for the academic session 2022-23 to create awareness among students by providing them with a proper understanding of the business environment and trends. The IIM Jammu summer school will be held from June 27 to July 1, 2022.
The IIM Jammu summer school was initially proposed by BS Sahay, director of IIM Jammu with the objective to expand the knowledge of students across various disciplines and help them explore new career options during the pandemic period. The IIM Jammu summer school programme includes interactive sessions with the IIM Jammu faculty. The programme is free and hence students are not required to pay any fees to attend the IIM Jammu summer school.
The summer school programme of IIM Jammu will include participatory learning where students and IIM Jammu faculties will interact with each other. There will also be experiential learning and storytelling. It mainly focuses on five modules:
- The first module is about college readiness, career opportunities, professionalism and future readiness.
- The second module is based on the global business environment, entrepreneurship, business strategies needed for marketing in the meta world, and new skillsets.
- The third module deals with being a responsible citizen and caring for the earth.
- The fourth module focuses on the importance of data and the creation and consumption of responsible social media content.
- The fifth module is about believing in self, self-care, and building self-confidence.

IIM Jammu is committed to working for the economic growth and prosperity of the Union territory of Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) region and thereby contribute to the nation-building exercise,” said Sahay.
