IIM Kashipur invites applications for PhD courses; apply by March 31
IIM-K: Candidates will receive a fellowship from Rs 37,000 to Rs 42,000 per month and a contingency grant of Rs 1.25 lakhs.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur is accepting applications for its PhD courses in economics, finance, human resource (HR), public policy, and others. Eligible candidates can submit their applications by visiting the official website of IIM Kashipur. The deadline for completing the application process is March 31, 2024.
As per the institute, this is a fully residential programme designed for professionals seeking to delve into complex management issues and make scholarly contributions.
The institute offers diverse specialization areas for the PhD programme, including communication, economics, finance, accounting, IT systems, marketing, operations management decision sciences, OB and HR management, strategy, and public policy. The batch exhibits a gender distribution with 27.8% females and 72.2% males.
The programme offers a fellowship from Rs 37,000 to Rs 42,000 per month, a contingency grant of Rs 1.25 lakhs, and a conference grant of Rs 3 lakhs.

IIM Kashipur PhD programme 2024: Eligibility criteria
The eligibility criteria for PhD programmes offered by the institute are given below.

Candidates should have a master’s degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 60% marks.

Candidates should have a five-year integrated master’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks, obtained after completing Class 12 or its equivalent.

Candidates should have s professional qualification duly recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), or Association of Indian Universities (AIU) equivalent to a master’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade point average.

Candidates should have a 4-year (8-semester) bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade point average.
