Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam: The IIM campus immersion programmes are designed to bridge the skills gap in India's financial and business education environment.
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Visakhapatnam, has announced a collaboration with the Imarticus School of Finance and Business (ISFB), a learning initiative by Imarticus Learning. The partnership introduces first-of-its-kind academic immersion programmes that offer undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students structured exposure to the academic environment of an IIM campus.
As part of this initiative, ISFB students will participate in specially curated academic engagement programmes at the IIM Visakhapatnam campus.
The UG students will receive a 5-day immersive experience that includes interactive sessions and keynote presentations by IIMV faculty. The PG students will undergo a 3-day on-campus training through 126 hours of academic training at IIM Visakhapatnam, and those who complete this course will also receive executive alumni status from the institute.

The programmes aim to introduce students to the teaching methodology, academic culture, and intellectual rigour of an IIM at an early stage, bridging the gap between classroom learning and modern industry expectations.

The IIM-led engagement programmes will provide learners with strong exposure, self-confidence, and the skills needed to excel in today's finance and business sectors, he added.
Vijaya Bhaskar Marisetty, Dean, IIM Visakhapatnam, highlighted the importance of this initiative and said, “We are committed to expanding access to high-quality management education. This collaboration with ISFB helps us expand our academic reach to undergraduate students for the first time, and gives them early exposure to management thinking, analytical skills, and the immersive learning culture of an IIM.
Through this partnership, ISFB students will also participate in academic training camps conducted at IIM Visakhapatnam, which will feature expert-led sessions, case-based learning, application modules, and exposure to advanced management concepts.
