IIT Guwahati announces GATE 2018 Result

Try NowNEW DELHI, MARCH 16: IIT Guwahati has declared the result for GATE 2018 examination a day earlier than scheduled. The result for all of the 23 GATE papers has been released in online mode. Candidates will have to log in through GATE Online Application Process System (GOAPS) to access the declared result. The score cards will be available from March 20, 2018 but only for those candidates who are successful in securing marks equal to or above the qualifying marks as per their category. The result and score card of GATE will be valid for 3 years from the date of release.

Steps to Download GATE 2018 Result
Candidates can use the following steps to access the result and score card. However, the score card will be available for download from March 20, 2018.
- The candidates will have to visit the official GATE website and click on “GATE Result”.
- GATE 2018 Registration ID, Enrollment No. and date of birth will have to be submitted.
- Click on “Submit”.
- The result will be displayed on the screen.
- The qualified candidates will be able to download and print their score card after it is released.
After accessing the result of GATE, the candidates will be able to check the following details in the document:
- Candidate’s Name
- GATE Registration Number
- GATE 2018 Examination Paper and Code
- Total scores obtained out of 100
- Qualifying Marks for GATE Paper
- Qualified candidates will also be able to view their All India Rank (AIR)
The result will not be physically issued by the authorities and has to be accessed in online mode. Since the result and score card will be important for M.E./M.Tech admissions or PSU recruitment, the candidates will have to keep the documents secure. The score card has to be downloaded within the allotted time otherwise the candidates will not be able to access it again.
