IPE Hyderabad to hold AI and ML awareness programme for EMDP participants from July 20

IPE Hyderabad: The five-day residential programme aims to equip public sector leaders with AI and machine learning skills to drive digital transformation.
The Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Hyderabad, will organise a five-day residential Management Development Programme (MDP) on "Unlocking Competitive Advantage: Leveraging Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence for Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) and State Level Public Enterprises (SLPEs)" from July 20 to 24, 2026, at Hotel Marigold, Begumpet, Hyderabad.
According to the IPE press release, the programme is being sponsored by the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE), Ministry of Finance, Government of India. The five-day MDP is aimed at helping public sector executives understand the growing role of artificial intelligence and machine learning in improving organisational performance.
The programme has been designed for senior executives, board-level officers and operational heads (E0-E9 grades) from CPSEs and SLPEs across the country.
Training focuses on AI-driven digital transformation
IPE said the initiative builds on the success of its earlier AI and ML training programme and aligns with India's efforts to prepare public sector leadership for digital transformation.
The institute said, "The initiative builds on the success of IPE's earlier programme and reflects India's commitment to preparing public sector leadership for digital transformation. It also resonates with global perspectives highlighted in McKinsey and Gartner reports, ensuring participants are equipped to compete in the international environment.”
The inaugural session will be attended by B Prasada Rao, former Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of BHEL, as the chief guest. S Sreenivasa Murthy, Senior Professor and Director, IPE, will also address the participants.
