NEW DELHI: IIT Kharagpur has concluded the JEE Advanced 2021 on October 3 across various exam centres. Applicants can now check the JEE Advanced paper analysis from this page below. As per the JEE Advanced paper review, applicants find paper 1 moderately to difficult. The shift 2 of JEE Advanced 2021 exam concluded at 5:30 PM. Applicants will be able to check JEE Main 2021 paper 2 analysis and answer key soon from here. Applicants appearing for the exam must follow JEE Advanced exam day guidelines and other SOPs released by the exam conducting authority. Only those students carrying JEE Advanced 2021 admit card, one valid ID proof and self-declaration form are allowed inside the exam centre.

JEE Advanced 2021 Exam Day Guidelines

  • Applicants appearing for the exam must reach the JEE Advanced 2021 exam centre at least 60 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

  • Candidates must wear the face mask throughout the JEE Advanced exam.

  • Along with the JEE Advanced admit card 2021, applicants must also carry one valid ID proof at the exam centre.

  • Candidates are allowed to carry their personal face mask, transparent water bottle and hand sanitizer inside the exam hall.

  • Temperature of candidates will be recorded at the time of entry inside the examination hall.

  • Candidates should not carry any items restricted at the IIT JEE Advanced 2021 exam centre.

JEE Advanced 2021 - Paper 2 analysis by Sri Chaitanya

Candidates who appeared for the JEE Advanced 2021 paper 2 can check the marking scheme from the table given below. Applicants can check the JEE Advanced 2021 paper analysis here.

Multiple choice in all subjects were easy to moderate, 1 or 2 hard, Non negative integers : can be moderate but lengthy ( all subjects)

Physics: Mechanics is covered in paper 2 and easy and some hard

JEE Advanced 2021 - Paper 2 analysis by Aakash Institute

Physics- The Physics portion was considered easy to moderate by a majority section of students. 6 questions from Mechanics, 6 from electrodynamics, 3 from modern physics, 2 each from optics and heat and thermodynamics constituted the paper. About 7 questions was observed to easy, 9 were observed to be moderate and the remaining 3 were difficult.

Chemistry- This segment was tricky to some students. The topic coverage was complete. There was about 7 question word from physical chemistry, 6 from inorganic chemistry and the remaining six from organic chemistry, students found this section moderate to difficult. About 5 questions can be categorized on easy 12 questions were of moderate and two questions for difficult.

Mathematics- Mathematics portion was the two largest of all subjects there were about 5 questions from algebra 7 questions from calculus and 5 question from co-ordinate geometry question were also asked from vectors and trigonometry. There were very few easy pickings in this portion student of open that only two questions was easy 13 question were moderate whereas for question word of difficult category overall difficulty level wise the order is M>C>P.

How many students appeared for JEE Advanced 2021

As per the statistics, a total of 1.5 lakh candidates are appearing for the JEE Advanced 2021 exam. JEE Advanced AAT 2021- Key Points

Candidates who wish to appear for JEE Advanced AAT 2021 exam should check the key points related to the exam below-

  • JEE Advanced 2021 AAT exam will be conducted for B. Arch program is available at IIT (BHU) Varanasi, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee only.

  • JEE Advanced AAT 2021 exam will be conducted at all 23 IITs.

  • The test will consist of one paper of three hours duration.

  • The question paper for AAT will be available only in the English language.

  • No separate admit card will be issued for AAT. The downloaded admit card of JEE Advanced 2021 has to be printed and produced in the AAT examination hall, along with the original photo identity card.

  • Candidates should bring their own drawing and colouring aids.

  • The Joint Implementation Committee of JEE Advanced 2021 will decide the cut-off marks for passing AAT.

  • Results of AAT will be declared on the JEE Advanced 2021 online portal.

Analysis of JEE Advanced 2021 (Paper-1) Morning Session: 9:00 am -12:00 noon:

  1. Total Marks of Paper 1 was 180 & Duration: 3 hrs

  2. Paper 1 had (57) questions with 19 questions in each subject including Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.

  3. The maximum marks for each Part was 60.

Sec-I had (04) Four questions with four options in each in which ONLY ONE of the four options was correct.

JEE Advanced 2021- Check KVPY exam date

IISC will conduct the KVPY Aptitude test 2021 on November 7 for science students. It is a scholarship exam. Candidates appearing for JEE Advanced 2021 should also appear for KVPY scholarship exam.

JEE Advanced 2021 exam: Special case of relaxation in eligibility criteria

This year, the authorities have allowed JEE Advanced 202o aspirants to appear in the entrance exam. Candidates who successfully registered for JEE Advanced 2020 but were absent in both the papers, i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2, of JEE Advanced 2020 are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2021 and do not need to fulfil the eligibility criteria released by the authorities. However, such students were required to successfully register for the JEE Advanced 2021 in the online registration portal and pay the registration fee before the last date.

JEE Advanced 2021: What is self-declaration form?

Candidates are required to carry the JEE Advanced 2021 self-declaration form along with other documents. The self-declaration form consists of declarations from students regarding any symptoms of cough, fever, breathlessness, sore throat/ runny nose or body ache in the last 14 days. It is mandatory for candidates to carry the JEE Advanced 2021 self-declaration form at the exam centre.

JEE Advanced 2021: Dress code to be followed inside the exam centre

Although the authorities have not released any specific dress code to be followed at the JEE Advanced 2021 exam centre, candidates should keep the following points in mind. 

  • Avoid wearing shoes/ footwear with thick soles and garments with large buttons. 

  • Female aspirants should not wear jewellery like Rings, bracelet, earrings, pendants, charms, nose pin, chain/ necklace, badge, brooch etc. 

  • Students should wear masks and gloves all the time inside and outside the exam centre.

  • If religion/ customs require candidates to wear specific attire, they are advised to report at the JEE Advanced 2021 exam centre early.

JEE Advanced 2021: Entry started

The entry to JEE Advanced exam centres has begun. The authorities have set the following guidelines for JEE Advanced at the time of entry.

JEE Advanced 2021 guidelines to be followed at entry

  • Candidates must wear their own mask at all times and are strongly advised to carry their own bottle of sanitizer as well as their own transparent bottle of water.

  • Candidates need to maintain social distancing at all times. Queue manager/ropes and Floor Marks will be arranged outside the Test Centre. Candidates are to follow the instructions provided by Test Centre staff.

  • Lab/Hall/Room number will not be displayed outside the Test Centre to avoid any crowding at any one place in any situation. Instead, this detail will be informed to the candidates when the barcode on the Admit Card is scanned.

  • Candidates will be required to sanitize their hands by washing with soap and with Hand Sanitizer before entry into the Test Centre. Hand sanitizer will be available at various locations in the Test.

JEE Advanced 2021 - Exam day guidelines

IITK has issued some JEE Advanced 2021 exam instructions that must be followed by candidates who are appearing for the exam. Below are some of the important things that they should keep in mind.

  • Applicants are advised to carry their own bottle of sanitizer as well as their own transparent bottle of water.

  • Candidates will have to sanitize their hands by washing with soap and with hand sanitizer before entry into the JEE Advanced 2021 exam centre.

  • At the time of entry, the invigilators will check the filled in COVID-19 self-declaration (Undertaking) on the admit card, and the body temperature (using Thermo Guns). Also, the staff will guide the candidate to respective labs after scanning the barcode on the admit card.

  • After the start of JEE Advanced 2021 paper 2 exam, candidates have to hand-over the admit card [duly filled and signed COVID-19 self-declaration (Undertaking)] to the invigilator.

  • Students have to mark their attendance in each of the papers by signing in beside their name in the space provided on the roll list.
