JEE Main 2025: NIT Delhi keeps up high BTech CSE cut-offs for ST students; closing ranks

Attempt NowNEW DELHI : Over the last three years, the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) have slightly relaxed the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main cut-offs for the computer science and engineering for tribal students coming from other states, according to the ranks recorded. NITs will admit students to their BTech CSE programmes on the basis of JEE Mains 2025, which is underway, for the upcoming academic session. JEE Main 2025 live updates.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is holding the JEE Main 2025 session 1, the first three days are already over, and the next JEE Main exam dates 2025 are January 28, 29, and 30. For NIT admissions, students need to clear JEE Main paper 1 for BE, BTech courses.
The JEE Main ranks for home-state quota in undergraduate seats for Scheduled Tribe (ST) category in CSE programme at the NITs have been witnessing a fluctuating trend with going up for some and stooping down for others.
For the other-state quota, NITs in Delhi, Patna, Puducherry, Silchar, AP recorded high JEE Main cut-offs while all others including the famous NIT Tiruchirappalli made it easier for ST students to take admissions in the engineering programme.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will hold the JEE Main 2025 counselling process, once the JEE Mains 2025 results are declared.
