NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main 2025) registration window for session 1 exams today. Engineering aspirants can fill JEE Main application form 2025, pay the requisite fee, and upload the required documents through the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, before 9 pm today.

As per the JEE Main 2025 schedule, the fee payment facility through online mode will be available till 11.59 pm today. Candidates will be able to opt to appear for JEE Main paper 1 for BE, BTech, paper 2 for BArch and BPlanning, or both. Moreover, applicants will also have an option to attempt the exam twice in a year.
JEE Main 2025 is also an eligibility test for appearing in JEE Advanced 2025, a gateway for IIT admissions. Top 2.5 lakh rank holders of JEE Mains will be eligible to take the IIT JEE Advanced exam 2025.
The NTA will open the JEE Main application correction facility on November 26 and close it a day later.

The JEE Main 2025 registration and application process is entirely online. Physically filled application forms or hard copies will not be accepted.
NTA has released the JEE Main 2025 exam dates for both sessions. The January Session (Session 1) will take place from January 22 to 31, 2025, while the April Session (Session 2) is scheduled from April 1 to 8, 2025.
Candidates can make the payment for JEE Main 2025 registration using the following methods:
Credit/Debit Card: Payments can be made using any valid credit or debit card. Ensure the card has adequate balance and is enabled for online transactions.
UPI (Unified Payments Interface): UPI can be used for fast and secure payments. Make sure your UPI ID is linked to an active bank account.
Net Banking: Payments can also be processed via net banking through your bank’s official platform for a seamless transaction.

As per the recent notification issued, JEE Main session 1 application window will close today, November 22, 2024. Candidates must note that the registration link will be available until 9 pm today. The link for students to submit the fee will however be available until 11:50 PM.

The National Testing Agency will close the registration window for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 session 1 today, November 22.
The marking scheme for JEE Main Paper 1 is as follows: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) award +4 marks for each correct answer, while -1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. For Numerical Questions, candidates receive +4 marks for each correct response. The examination has a duration of 3 hours, extending to 4 hours for candidates with disabilities.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) issued an advisory on Aadhaar authentication for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 after receiving complaints from candidates about technical issues during the JEE Main 2025 registration process due to Aadhaar card authentication. The testing agency stated that the problem arrived due to a mismatch between the name of candidates on their Aadhaar cards and the Class 10 certificates. NTA advised candidates to close the pop-up message indicating a name mismatch during Aadhaar authentication. A new window will appear on the screen to proceed with Aadhaar authentication. Candidates are required to enter the name exactly as it appears on their Aadhaar card in the new window. Both the name from the educational certificate and the Aadhaar card will be captured during this process, allowing candidates to continue with the registration.
