Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements to apply for JEE Main 2025 exam:

• Candidates who have passed the Class 12 exam in 2023 or 2024, or are appearing for the Class 12 exam in 2025, are eligible to apply.
• There is no age limit for candidates.
• For Paper 1 (BE/BTech): Candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics in Class 12, along with any other subject such as Chemistry,
• Biology, Biotechnology, or a Technical Vocational subject.
• For Paper 2A (BArch): Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Class 12.
• For Paper 2B (BPlan): Candidates must have studied Mathematics in Class 12.

The JEE Main 2025 registration fee must be paid before 11:50 pm today.

Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of the following documents while filling out the JEE Main application form:

• Class 10 or Equivalent Certificate/Marksheet
• PwD/PwBD Certificate (if applicable).

The JEE Main 2025 registration and application process is entirely online. Physically filled application forms or hard copies will not be accepted.

NTA has released the JEE Main 2025 exam dates for both sessions. The January Session (Session 1) will take place from January 22 to 31, 2025, while the April Session (Session 2) is scheduled from April 1 to 8, 2025.

As per the recent notification issued, JEE Main session 1 application window will close today, November 22, 2024. Candidates must note that the registration link will be available until 9 pm today. The link for students to submit the fee will however be available until 11:50 PM.

Students can follow the steps provided below to submit their JEE Mains session 1 applications.

The National Testing Agency will close the registration window for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 session 1 today, November 22.

The marking scheme for JEE Main Paper 1 is as follows: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) award +4 marks for each correct answer, while -1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. For Numerical Questions, candidates receive +4 marks for each correct response. The examination has a duration of 3 hours, extending to 4 hours for candidates with disabilities.

To register for JEE Main 2025, candidates must upload the following documents in the specified format:

• The recent photograph should be in either colour or black and white, with 80% of the face (without a mask) visible, including the ears, against a white background.
• Both the scanned photograph and signature must be in JPG or JPEG format and clearly legible.
• The size of the scanned photograph should range from 10 KB to 200 KB.
• The size of the scanned signature should range from 4 KB to 30 KB.
• The scanned copy of the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) certificate should be in PDF format, between 50 KB and 300 KB, and clearly legible.

For JEE Main 2025 registration, the candidates belonging to the following categories will be required to submit a valid category certificate to claim reservation:

• OBC-NCL
• SC
• ST
• EWS
• PwD

Applicants will be required to enter caste certificate number, date of issuance, and name of issuing authority while filling the JEE Main application form 2025.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has answered the Frequently-Asked Questions (FAQs) on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025. According to NTA, JEE Main 2025 exam date will not be changed in case of clash with other exams. Students can check the answers regarding JEE Main 2025 application fee, JEE Main 2025 admit card, JEE Main 2025 exam centres, JEE Main 2025 marking scheme, and more on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) issued an advisory on Aadhaar authentication for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 after receiving complaints from candidates about technical issues during the JEE Main 2025 registration process due to Aadhaar card authentication. The testing agency stated that the problem arrived due to a mismatch between the name of candidates on their Aadhaar cards and the Class 10 certificates. NTA advised candidates to close the pop-up message indicating a name mismatch during Aadhaar authentication. A new window will appear on the screen to proceed with Aadhaar authentication. Candidates are required to enter the name exactly as it appears on their Aadhaar card in the new window. Both the name from the educational certificate and the Aadhaar card will be captured during this process, allowing candidates to continue with the registration.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the application correction window for the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main 2025 session 1 on November 26. Registered candidates will be able to edit details in their JEE Main application form 2025 by November 27. 

According to the latest update, around 7.8 lakh students have registered for JEE Main 2025 so far.

Candidates can follow the below given options to reset the JEE Main 2025 registration password;

• Use the Security Question and the Answer you have chosen during Form filling.
• Use the verification code sent via text message (SMS) to your Registered Mobile Number.
• Use the reset link sent via Email to your Registered Email address.

NTA will open the JEE Main 2025 application correction window on November 26 and 27, 2024, allowing candidates to edit their application details during this period.
