JEE Main 2025 Registration Live: NTA session 1 application last date today; official website, syllabus

After deleting certain topics from JEE Main 2025 syllabus of mathematics, the National Testing Agency released the following for syllabus of JEE Mains 2025:

The first session of the Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main) 2025 will be conducted in the month of January 2025. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will hold the engineering entrance exam between January 22 and 31, 2025. 

A library at the Pahari Village in Haryana, set up by the alumni association of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi is helping engineering aspirants with JEE Main preparation. It is home to several books on JEE Mains along with other entrance and competitive exams and is saving the time and money of both students and their parents. 

The Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE) Main 2025 registration will close today, November 22. Candidates will be required to upload the following documents while filling the JEE Main application form 2025:

• Candidate’s Photograph
• Signature
• Class 10 mark sheet or equivalent certificate
• PwD/PwBD certificate.

Engineering graduates have been struggling to find jobs through campus placements. Even the top BTech branches including computer science and mechanical engineering at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) saw a drop in placement rates this year. Companies prefer recruiting off-campus since pandemic and are opting for limited visits to the campuses. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has answered the Frequently-Asked Questions (FAQs) on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025. According to NTA, JEE Main 2025 exam date will not be changed in case of clash with other exams. Students can check the answers regarding JEE Main 2025 application fee, JEE Main 2025 admit card, JEE Main 2025 exam centres, JEE Main 2025 marking scheme, and more on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) issued an advisory on Aadhaar authentication for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 after receiving complaints from candidates about technical issues during the JEE Main 2025 registration process due to Aadhaar card authentication. The testing agency stated that the problem arrived due to a mismatch between the name of candidates on their Aadhaar cards and the Class 10 certificates. NTA advised candidates to close the pop-up message indicating a name mismatch during Aadhaar authentication. A new window will appear on the screen to proceed with Aadhaar authentication. Candidates are required to enter the name exactly as it appears on their Aadhaar card in the new window. Both the name from the educational certificate and the Aadhaar card will be captured during this process, allowing candidates to continue with the registration.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the application correction window for the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main 2025 session 1 on November 26. Registered candidates will be able to edit details in their JEE Main application form 2025 by November 27. 

According to the latest update, around 7.8 lakh students have registered for JEE Main 2025 so far.

Candidates can follow the below given options to reset the JEE Main 2025 registration password;

• Use the Security Question and the Answer you have chosen during Form filling.
• Use the verification code sent via text message (SMS) to your Registered Mobile Number.
• Use the reset link sent via Email to your Registered Email address.

NTA will open the JEE Main 2025 application correction window on November 26 and 27, 2024, allowing candidates to edit their application details during this period.

• Class 10/ Birth Certificate Details
• Class 12th Details
• Category Details
• Valid Photo Identity details
• City and Paper preferences

Candidates can check the status of their JEE Main 2025 application form after final submission by following these steps:

• Visit jeemain.nta.ac.in
• Click on the "Registered Candidate Login" link
• Log in using your application number and password
• The JEE Main application status will be displayed on the screen
