JEE Main 2022- Tips to avoid negative marking in exam

Candidates must check the points below to avoid JEE Main negative marking:

Keep calm and don't be in a hurry: JEE Main 2022 often causes panic among candidates which tends to make them make silly mistakes. Thus, candidates shall not lose calm and remain attentive.

Reading questions carefully: Candidates must read the questions with full attention. Since the JEE Main exam tests candidates' attention and presence of mind; candidates must check the question twice if needed, before answering.

A big no to guesswork: Candidates must never attempt any question in guesswork. According to experts, one of the big reasons for negative marking is to attempt questions without surety. It is advisable to avoid answering any such question.

Don't focus on the number of attempted questions: Many candidates often start worrying about the number of questions attempted. It is advisable not to consider this, as it might create exam fright. Moreover, the focus must be on the number of questions answered correctly in JEE Main 2022 rather than attempted questions.
