JKBOPEE starts JKCET 2026 Round 2 counselling for BTech admissions; candidates must complete choice filling and fee payment online
Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has started the round 2 counselling for the Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) on the official website of JKBOPEE at jkbopee.gov.in. The last date for the choice filling is June 15, 2026.
Candidates are required to pay a counselling fee of Rs 1,000. They must also upload the necessary documents, such as the domicile certificate, Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets, and relevant diploma, degree, or qualifying examination certificates for verification.
After the completion of the choice-filling process, the authorities will publish the JKCET Round 2 seat allotment result. Candidates who are allotted seats will then be required to report to their respective institutes within the prescribed schedule to complete the admission formalities.

JKCET Round 2 Counselling 2026: Steps to apply
To apply for the JKCET counselling 2026, follow the steps given below:
- Go to the official counselling portal of JKCET at jkbopee.gov.in
- On the homepage, select the counselling registration option
- Enter the required details and complete the registration process
- Check the registered mobile number and email ID for login credentials after successful registration
- Sign in to the candidate portal and choose preferred colleges and courses
- Review and edit the selected preferences, if required, before the final submission
- Complete the application by paying the prescribed counselling fee online within the stipulated deadline
Candidates who qualified in JKCET 2026 can now participate in the ongoing counselling process by submitting their preferred courses and colleges for admission to participating institutes. The counselling procedure comprises multiple stages, including choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, and reporting to the allotted college for admission confirmation.
JKCET Round 2 Counselling 2026: Participating institutes
A total of six institutes are participating in the JKCET 2026 counselling process for admission to BTech programmes. During choice filling, candidates must select their preferred colleges from the list of participating institutes, which includes Government College of Engineering and Technology (GCET), Jammu; Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), Jammu; MBS College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu; SSM College of Engineering, Srinagar; Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET), Jammu; and Bhargava College of Engineering and Technology, Supwal, Samba.
