JKSSB SI Recruitment 2021: One-time age relaxation for sub-inspector candidates; How to apply
J-K sub-inspector recruitment 2021 vacancies increased to 1200. Candidates can apply for JKSSB SI Recruitment 2021 at jkssb.nic.in on or before December 10.

NEW DELHI: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha announced today that the government has decided to provide one-time age relaxation for aspirants preparing for JK sub-inspector recruitment 2021. JKSSB SI Recruitment 2021 online application process started on the official website, jkssb.nic.in.
“Today announced onetime age-relaxation for thousands of Sub-Inspector aspirants preparing for recruitment in the Jammu & Kashmir Police. Also Ordered the increase of Upper age limit from 28 to 30 years for the aspirants and enhanced the number of UT Cadre posts from 800 to 1200,” Manoj Sinha wrote on Twitter.
Calling it a landmark decision, he further said the step was taken “to fulfill the demands and aspirations of the people of J&K, especially the youth, who are the focal point of J&K’s developmental agenda.”

Also Ordered the increase of Upper age limit from 28 to 30 years for the aspirants and enhanced the number of UT Cadre posts from 800 to 1200.
Since the upper age limit increased from 28 to 30 years, interested candidates are advised to apply for the JKSSB SI recruitment 2021 before December 10, 2021. Earlier, the age limit to apply for the JK sub-inspector recruitment was 18-28 years.

JKSSB SI Recruitment 2021: How to apply
- Visit official website ssbjk.org.in
- Click on the apply link under the title “Application Form for UT Cadre Posts”
- Enter email id and password
- Login and apply for the desired post
- Candidates will now have to fill application form, upload required documents,
- Next, pay application fee
- Check the details entered and submit the application
- Download the form and take printout for future reference

JKSSB SI Recruitment 2021: Application fee
- Candidates have to pay Rs 550 as application fee. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category, will have to pay Rs 400.
- Fee can be paid only online through net banking, credit or debit cards
- Applicants must note that applications received without the prescribed fee will not be considered and also fees shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
