ABVP JNU has alleged that the scholarship has been delayed for the past two years and said that the administration is scamming students' money.
NEW DELHI: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) of the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) alleged that JNU guards have beaten up the students and dragged them outside at the behest of the VC rector, for enquiring about the delayed scholarships. Several students got hurt, the student organisation claimed. According to a JNU student, Rohit Kumar, who is also an ABVP activist, when five students came to the scholarship session for enquiry, the staff misbehaved with them and talked to them in foul language.
"Even after having money with the university, the administration is scamming students' money for months, we are being disrespected and thrown out of the office for asking for our own scholarship. The limit of tolerance is now over. @abvpjnu take answers from corrupt administration. @ABVPVoice," tweeted ABVP JNU.
@ABVPVoice pic.twitter.com/FkUQNkhZBp

Kumar alleged that the scholarship payment has not been made for the past two years. He further said that the students will not back-off until a resolution has been met and the registrar speaks with them. ABVP JNU also shared the video of the tussle between the students and the JNU guards on Twitter.

ABVP termed the violence over the students as "Naxali JNU Admin attack" and said that the security also attacked the girl students and the differently-abled students. "Many students have been seriously injured and the fellowship section is red with the students blood," ABVP JNU tweeted.
