JNU Students Union Elections 2025-26 schedule released; voting on November 4

JNUSU Elections 2025-26: The nomination forms will be issued on October 25 from 2 pm to 5 pm and the filling process will take place on October 27 from 9:30 am to 5 pm.
The Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union Election Committee (JNUSU) has announced the schedule for the JNUSU elections 2025-26. The polling will be conducted on November 4 in two phases. The first phase of voting will take place from 9 am to 1 pm, while the second will be done from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
The nomination forms will be issued on October 25 from 2 pm to 5 pm and the filling process will take place on October 27 from 9:30 am to 5 pm.
As per the schedule, the election committee will declare the final list of candidates for the JNU Students Union elections 2025-26 on October 28 at 7 pm.
The counting of votes will also begin on November 4. The election committee will announce the final election results on November 6, 2025.
Notably, the committee has urged all organisation and individuals to send their representations to the first All organisation meeting today at 11 am in the election committee officer in Teflas.
“Any new addition or correction in the voters list required for the purpose of proper identification of Proposer, Seconder and Candidate must be done well in advance before filing the nomination. Detailed schedule of GBMs will be notified after declaration of final list of candidates,” the official notification reads.
