Download NowNEW DELHI, MARCH 7: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will close KCET 2018 application form tomorrow, on March 8. Candidates, who wish to register for KCET 2018, but have not applied so far, can apply till tomorrow. While filling the application form, candidates have to register, login and fill the application form, upload photograph and signature, pay application fee and submit the application form.

General/OBC category candidates have to pay Rs. 650, SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs. 500 and candidates who have studied outside Karnataka have to pay Rs. 750 as application fee. The application fee of KCET 2018 can be paid through online mode using net banking/credit card/debit card as well as through offline mode (through E-challan). Candidates, who wish to pay the application fee via bank challan can pay it at the branches of State Bank of India or ICICI Bank. Though candidates can fill and submit the application form till March 8, they have got an extra day to pay the application fee. Thus, candidates can pay KCET 2018 application fee till March 9.
Before filling the KCET application, candidates must carefully go through the eligibility criteria for the entrance test and the admission procedure, so as to avoid any last minute hassle. KEA may also enable application correction facility in the second week of March, for candidates who want to make corrections and changes in the submitted application of KCET 2018.
The application form of KCET 2018 has been available from February 1 in online mode. Registered candidates can download their KCET admit card 2018 from April 10, while the entrance test will be conducted on April 18 (Mathematics) and April 19 (Physics and Chemistry). There will also be Kannada Language Test in Bangalore on April 20, which will be held only for Horanadu, Gadinadu and Kannadiga candidates.
KCET is held for admission to undergraduate engineering programme across 220 Government colleges/ private aided/ private un-aided/ Universities of Karnataka. Last year, KCET as many as 1,85,418 candidates had registered for the state level examination out of which only 12,5860 qualified in it.
