Download NowNEW DELHI, MARCH 16: In what can be termed as good news for all KCET applicants, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has extended the deadline to submit the filled application form till 5.30 pm of March 22. Eligible candidates who could not fill the online application form of KCET 2018 can now register and pay the prescribed fees from March 15 to March 22 till 5:30 pm. The procedure of filling the application form includes registration, entering personal and academic particulars, paying the application fee and submitting it.

Admission Alert: NHCE inviting applications for AY 2026. NAAC 'A' Accredited
Candidates belonging to General and OBC category will have to pay Rs 650 along with the bank charges as the application fee. While SC/ST candidates and applicants belonging from outside Karnataka will have to deposit Rs 500 and Rs 750 respectively as the application fees. Before proceeding towards filling the application form, candidates must check and meet the eligibility criteria laid down by the exam conducting authorities.
Things to keep handy before filling application form
Candidates need to keep the following things ready before proceeding towards filling the application :
- Valid email address and mobile number
- Aadhaar Card details (Optional)
- Latest scanned photograph and signature
- Scanned or digital image of left-hand thumb impression
- Scanned image of the signature/left thumb impression of the parent
Exam conducting authority, KEA will hold KCET 2018 in offline mode on April 18 and 19. The state level engineering entrance exam is conducted for the admission to various B.Tech programmes offered by government and private institutions of Karnataka. The entrance exam will be conducted separately for Mathematics and Biology on day 1 and Physics and Chemistry on day 2 of the exam days mentioned above. Candidates belonging to Horanadu, Gadinadu and Kannadiga category can take up the entrance exam in Kannada language on April 20 at Bangalore centre only .
