Kerala PG 2019 medical application form released; apply by March 25

New Delhi, March 19 : The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has released the online application form of Kerala PG 2019 medical admission on March 19. The application form is for admission to MD/MS and PG Diploma courses under 50% state quota. Last date to submit completed application forms is March 25.
This year, a total of 383 PG seats are available under state quota, compared to 307 in the previous year, representing an increase of 76 seats over the previous academic session. However, the number of PG Diploma seats remain static at 79. Counselling for remaining 50% AIQ will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Under AIQ, there are 342 PG degree seats, and 81 PG Diploma seats.
Admission to MD/MS and PG Diploma courses will be based on NEET PG 2019 scores only; so only such candidates who have qualified in the national-level exam should fill the application form.

How to fill Kerala PG medical application form

Get registered by entering NEET application number, date of birth, mobile number, etc. The candidate will also have to select a password for the applicant account.

The candidate has to next fill all relevant sections of the application form

In this step application fee has to be paid. The application fee for general candidates is Rs. 1000, and Rs. 500 for SC and ST candidates. Payment can be made both in online mode and also offline, by downloading the e-challan.

After payment is done, upload scanned images of signature and certificates in prescribed format.
What next?
The admission authority will first publish a provisional merit list based on NEET PG 2019 scores for registered candidates. The provisional merit list will be followed by a final merit list, which will be used for seat allotment process. The merit list will include details like the name and state merit rank of the candidate, and NEET PG scores.
Merit list candidates in turn will be eligible to participate in the counselling process as per the given schedule. Seat allotment will be conducted through a Centralized Allotment Process (CAP), comprising of two online rounds. If there are any vacancy left after two rounds of CAP, a mop-up round will be conducted.
As part of counselling process, candidates will have to exercise choice filling and locking, which along with merit rank of the candidate will be basis of seat allotment.
