Kerala SSLC practical exam cancelled; Class 12 practicals postponed
Kerala Board to start the valuation process for HSC, VHSC from June 1. The valuation for SSLC to begin on June 7.

NEW DELHI: On account of the number of increasing COVID-19 cases in the Kerala state, the Information Technology (IT) practical exam for SSLC has been cancelled. The practical exams of HSC have been postponed. The Kerala HSC practical exams will now be held from June 21 to July 7, 2021.
The evaluation for Kerala Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) exam will be held from June 7 to June 25. Whereas the result evaluation for Higher Secondary (HSC) and Vocational Higher Secondary (VHSC) exams will be held between June 1 and 19, 2021.
Teachers involved in the valuation process will be vaccinated. The vaccination process will be completed before the commencement of valuation.
"The Higher Secondary/Vocational Higher Secondary theory examinations in Kerala are being completed today (26/04/2021). The present instruction is to start the practical examinations from the 28th. However, in the present scenario, the Higher Secondary / Vocational Higher Secondary Practical Examinations scheduled to start on 28/04/2021 have been temporarily postponed. Updated exam dates will be announced later," an official statement stated, as per a report by NDTV.
Kerala Pareeksha Bhawan has conducted the SSLC exam 2021 from April 8 and 29, 2021. Earlier, higher secondary and vocational practical exams were also postponed which were scheduled to begin from April 28, 2021.
Earlier, the Kerala government has announced to conduct Class 1 to 9 exams from home . Students were asked to submit the answer sheet from home by May 10, 2021. The Kerala board has also postponed the valuation of HSC exams in the state, considering the COVID-19 situation.
