Law entrance exams updates: MH CET law registration ends today, CLAT admit card 2021 to be out soon

NEW DELHI: State CET Cell, Maharashtra will close the MH CET law 2021 registration window for 5-year LLB today, July 12, 2021. On the other hand, the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) may release the CLAT 2021 admit card soon as the CLAT 2021 exam is scheduled for July 23.

MH CET law for 5-year LLB is conducted for admission to law colleges in Maharashtra. Candidates who want to appear in MH CET law 2021 are advised to complete their application process by today. For candidates seeking admission to 3-year LLB, the MH CET law application form is expected to be released soon.

CLAT admit card to be released soon

Generally, the CLAT admit card is released at least two weeks before the exam date. Given that there are around 10 days left for the exam, candidates should expect the CLAT admit card to be out within the next few days.

Candidates will be able to download CLAT 2021 admit cards by logging into the admission portal. Along with the admit card, the consortium will also release a slew of exam-day guidelines considering the COVID-19 situation in the country.

Will CLAT 2021 be postponed again?

There are speculations among some student circles that CLAT 2021 could be postponed again due to COVID-19. However, it is pertinent to note that the exam authorities have not announced any official notification regarding CLAT postponement. And, especially when other exams, such as ICAI CA July 2021 are being conducted, another CLAT postponement is unlikely.

Vice-Chancellor, NALSAR, Faizan Mustafa, who is also the president of the consortium, has also recently asserted that postponing CLAT 2021 yet again will not be a good idea.

SLAT 2021 completed in remote proctored mode

While there are speculations around CLAT exam date, Symbiosis International University (SIU) has completed the administration of SLAT (Symbiosis Law Aptitude Test) 2021 for admission to BA LLB and BBA LLB programmes. The test was conducted in remote-proctored mode from July 10-12. The result of SLAT 2021 will be declared on July 27, 2021.
