NEW DELHI: Lovely Professional University has been ranked among the ‘Top 200 universities in the World’ in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2021. LPU has achieved the position among Indian universities under the ‘Affordable and Clean Energy’ category. From India, 57 universities participated; 1,240 participated globally.
The third annual THE Impact Rankings assess universities against progress towards the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), providing a total of 18 rankings, one for each SDG as well as an overall table.
LPU is also ranked second in India (59th globally) in the ‘Decent Work and Economic Growth’ category, a parameter that measures universities’ economics research, their employment practices and the share of its students getting placements.
