MAH CET 2025 on July 20 for BA, BSc-BEd admissions; NCTE now set to replace course with ITEP from 2026

MAH CET 2025 Exam: Candidates can register for the four-year BA, BSc-BEd (Integrated) programme from June 2 to June 15 through the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org.
The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell will hold the entrance exam for admission to the four-year integrated Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science-Bachelor of Education (BSc-BEd) course for the 2025-26 academic session. The integrated BA, BSc-BEd programme will now remain in place for one more year, as the CET Cell has announced that the course will be discontinued from the 2026-27 academic year instead of 2025-26.
The MAH CET exam for four-year BA, BSc-BEd (Integrated) admissions will be conducted on July 20. The registration process for the MAH CET four-year BA, BSc-BEd (Integrated) exam will begin from June 2. Candidates will be able to fill out the application form till June 15 through the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org.
CET Cell further informed that the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for the course will be conducted after the results are declared, and a separate schedule will be published on the official website.

“As per the referenced letter dated 23/05/2025, the Department of Higher Education, Mantralaya has directed that a Common Entrance Test (CET) and Centralized Admission Process (CAP) should be implemented for the four-year BA/BSc-BEd (Integrated) course only for the Academic Year 2025-26,” the official notice said.
As per the notice issued earlier by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi, the four-year integrated BA/BSc-BEd course will now be discontinued from the 2026-27 academic year instead of 2025-26. The existing programme will be replaced by the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP).
