NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will commence the registration process for the third round of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 counselling 2024 today, October 3. Eligible candidates can fill up the MCC NEET UG 2024 round 3 counselling registration form by visiting the official website, mcc.nic.in.

As per the official schedule, the last date for online counselling and the allotment process for the NEET-UG 2024 for admission into the All India Quota (15%), deemed universities, central universities, all All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) institutes, and the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) in Puducherry and Karaikal is October 8.
The MCC informed that candidates who registered for round 1 or round 2 and did not receive any seat allotment are not required to register again. Fresh new registration for round 3 is open for candidates who have not registered in either round 1 or round 2, provided they complete the full payment of fees, including registration and security charges.

NEET UG Counselling 2024: Registration fee
Candidates from unreserved (UR) and economically weaker sections (EWS) candidates will have to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 1,000 to register for the NEET UG counselling 2024. Candidates from scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), other backward classes (OBC), and persons with disabilities (PwD) categories are required to pay Rs 500.
The committee will commence the choice-filling process from October 5 to October 8, 2024. The locking period for the choices will be available from 4 pm on October 8, 2024, until 11:55 pm on the same day. The NEET UG 2024 seat allotment process will commence on October 9, 10, 2024 and the results of the seat allotment will be announced on October 11, 2024.
The seat allotment result will be announced based on the NEET UG rank, seat availability, and the candidates' course and college preferences. Candidates will then have to report to the allotted institute between October 12 and October 18, 2024. The verification of joined candidates' data by the institutes will commence on October 19 and continue until October 20, 2024.
