Candidates with disabilities (PwD) will have to upload the disability certificate issued by the competent authority. If they have a unique disability ID (UDID) card, they can upload that as well. They are encouraged to obtain a UDID card, as it may be required during the Common Admission Process (CAP).
PwD candidates eligible for scribes must submit details of two scribes during online MHT CET 2026 registration, including their name, Aadhaar, recent photograph, bonafide certificate from the institution, and highest qualification certificate.
The Maharashtra Admission Regulating Authority (ARA) has recently increased the exam fee for Maharashtra CET 2026 . Open category candidates are required to pay Rs 1,300, while reserved category candidates will need to pay Rs 1,000.
Additionally, the authority plans to conduct a mock Centralised Admission Process (CAP) round in the upcoming admission cycle to help candidates become familiar with the procedure. Candidates often face confusion when filling out the college preference form, particularly while choosing between the freeze or betterment options during the CAP admission process.
To help candidates overcome these challenges, the State CET Cell will introduce a mock CAP admission practice round beginning with the 2026-27 academic year.
