MU OET 2018 application form closes on March 11

NEW DELHI, MARCH 10: Students who are seeking admission in Manipal University need to hurry up as the application process for the entrance exam will close on March 11. Candidates will not be allowed to submit the application form after the given deadline for Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU OET). To apply for the entrance exam, candidates need to register and fill application form in online mode. Entering personal and academic details like name, contact number, email address and educational qualification along with the payment of application fee are some of the steps involved in the application process. Admission authorities will reject an incomplete or invalid form. Therefore, candidates need to be careful while filling it.

Candidates need to deposit Rs. 2000 (Rs 600 application fee + Rs 1400 exam fee) either through net banking, debit card, credit card or through a demand draft. In case candidates opt for offline payment, they have to send print out of the filled MU OET application form along with the DD to the admission office.

Once the application process ends, candidates will be able to book their slot of the entrance exam from March 31 to April 5, 2018. Thereafter the admit card for the same will be generated and candidates are required to download the same.

The Manipal University conducts MU OET for candidates who are seeking admission to various B.Tech programmes offered at its constituent institutes such as Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal; Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Sikkim and Manipal University Jaipur.

The entrance exam for 1st and 2nd attempt will be held in at least 46 test cities in India and one centre in Dubai from April 19 to May 9, 2018. The third attempt of MU OET 2018 will be held on May 11, 2018. MU OET 2018 will be held for two and a half hours with candidates required to answer 200 multiple choice questions in total. Candidates will be awarded one mark for every correct response and no negative marking will be done for incorrect answer.
