Download EBookNEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has specified the NEET UG 2024 exam day dress code for male and female aspirants on their official website, neet.ntaonline.in. The NEET 2024 exam is going to be held tomorrow i.e. May 5. Candidates will have to follow a certain dress code to appear in NEET exam. The NTA has provided separate dress code rules for male and female students.
It must be noted that the candidates are advised to follow the dress code guidelines without fail strictly. Students who fail to follow the NEET dress code 2024 will not be allowed to enter the exam hall and such aspirants will be debarred from the medical entrance test. Thus, it is advised to follow the NTA guidelines and avoid unnecessary hassle. Check the NEET dress code guidelines below:
NEET 2024 dress code for male candidates
- Male candidates will only be allowed to wear half-sleeved shirts and t-shirts.
- Male candidates can wear simple pants/trousers with pockets.
- No bulky clothes with zip pockets, big buttons or embroideries are allowed for male candidates.
- Male candidates should only wear light and simple clothes.
NEET 2024 dress code for female candidates
- Female candidates are not allowed to wear brooch, flowers, badges, or jeans.
- Ornaments such as earrings, nose rings, pendants, necklaces, etc are not allowed for females in the examination hall.
- Female candidates can wear light-coloured denim pants and half-sleeve t-shirts, given that the size of the shirt buttons should be medium.
- Kurti is not allowed for female candidates during the examination.
- Leggings and palazzo are not allowed in NEET 2024 for female candidates.
