Use NowNEW DELHI: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has announced that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 exam date today, December 5. As per the official notification, NBEMS will conduct the NEET PG 2025 exam tentatively on June 15, 2025.
Candidates can check the NEET PG 2025 exam date notification through the official website. The NMC has issued the notification confirming that the deadline for completing the internship required for eligibility to appear in NEET PG 2025 has been set as July 31, 2025.
This clarification follows the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) releasing a tentative schedule for medical exams in 2025 on November 28.
Although the NBEMS announcement included dates for the NEET-Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) and NEET-Super Speciality (SS) exams, the NEET PG 2025 date was not specified and was listed as "to be announced in due course." In a subsequent notification, the NMC has provided some clarity for the NEET PG aspirants.
NBEMS tentative schedule for medical exams 2025
NBEMS released the exam dates for various examinations including MDS, DNB, and SS among others on November 28. Candidates can download the NBEMS tentative schedule 2025 through the official website, nbe.edu.in.

The NEET MDS examination is scheduled for January 31, 2025, while the NEET SS 2024 will be held over two days, March 29 and 30.
Meanwhile, candidates who appeared in the NEET PG exam this year continued to demand for the NEET PG answer key and question paper as there was no clarity on the normalisation method used to prepare results.
A day before the exam, the NBE announced the decision to adopt the normalisation method used by AIIMS New Delhi to prepare the results for NEET PG. However, there was no further clarification regarding the method used to ensure fairness and equity in the exam held in multiple shifts.
