NEW DELHI: The Federation of Resident Doctors’ Association (FORDA) in a letter to the Director General of Health Services informed that more than 1,000 seats remain vacant after the round 1 and 2 National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Super Specialty (NEET SS 2022) counselling. The doctors association requested the officials to hold a mop-up round to prevent seat wastage.

Augmenting the number of seats for super specialty is the need of the hour, FORDA said adding that the “wastage of seats is not acceptable and is a significant academic and healthcare loss”.
