NEET UG 2021 exam cities increased; Two regional languages added
NEET 2021 registration process has started at neet.nta.nic.in. NTA is all set to conduct the NEET 2021 exam on September 12 by following COVID-19 protocol.
NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) information brochure at neet.nta.nic.in with major changes. In order to ensure social distancing norms and to curb the spread of COVID-19, the NTA has increased the number of NEET 2021 exam cities to 201.

Earlier on July 13, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tweeted that the NEET 2021 exam will be conducted on September 12 in 198 exam centres. However, in the NEET 2021 brochure, the NTA has revised the number of NEET 2021 exam cities to 201.
For the first time, the ministry has set up an exam centre in Kuwait for Middle East students who wish to appear for the NEET 2021.

NEET UG 2021: To be held in 13 languages
NEET 2021 questions paper will be available in English, Hindi and Urdu at all NEET exam centres. For students convenience, aspirants can attempt the NEET 2021 in their regional languages.
Aspirants must note that the language option for NEET 2021 will only be available at certain NEET exams centres.
As per the latest update on NEET UG 2021, the entrance test will now be conducted in 13 languages - English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. This year, two regional languages, Punjabi and Malayalam have also been added.
Facilities at NEET 2021 exam centres amid COVID-19
The Education Minister also confirmed, “To ensure adherence to COVID-19 protocols, face masks will be provided to all candidates at the centre. Staggered time slots during entry and exit, contactless registration, proper sanitisation, seating with social distancing etc. will also be ensured.”
The NEET 2021 registration has been started in online mode from July 13 to August 6 on the official website - neet.nta.nic.in. NTA will be conducting the medical entrance test with the updated NEET 2021 exam pattern for admission to 83,075 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 603 BVSc, and AH seats across India. From last year, the admission to 1,899 AIIMS and 249 JIPMER medical seats is also done through the NEET entrance exam.
