NEW DELHI: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG 2023) results are expected to be announced by this week for more than 20 lakh candidates, as per past trends. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the NEET UG answer key 2023 on June 4 and the last date to raise objections is tomorrow at the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. As per last year NEET UG result date trends, the results were declared five days after the answer key objection deadline. The last date to challenge the answer key was on September 2 and the NEET UG results were declared on September 7 last year.

This year, the NEET 2023 exam was held on May 7 for 20,87,449 candidates at 4,097 different centres located in 499 cities. Those candidates who wish to raise objections against the NEET answer key or OMR sheet will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question.

After reviewing the challenges, the NTA will issue the NEET UG final answer key. The NEET UG results 2023 will be based on the final key approved by the subject experts.

How to challenge NEET UG answer key 2023

Medical aspirants can follow the step-by-step instructions given below to raise objections against the key.

  • Visit the NEET UG official website neet.nta.nic.in.
  • Click on the ‘Apply for Answer Key Challenge(s)’ on the homepage.
  • Select the test booklet code.
  • Login with application number and date of birth and enter security pin.
  • Questions will be displayed in the following sequential order:
  • 50+50+50+50 questions - physics, chemistry, botany, zoology.
  • Use any one or more of the options given in the next four columns by clicking the checkbox and submit the supporting documents to raise objections.
  • Pay the non-refundable fee and submit the claim.

To raise objections against the OMR answer sheet grading and recorded responses, select question(s) for which you wish to challenge the recorded response. “The number next to the Question under the column ‘Captured Response as per OMR Sheet’ stands for the option opted by the candidates in the OMR answer sheets”. Select the candidate claim and pay the fee of Rs 200 per question challenged.
