NEET UG counselling 2024 likely to commence soon at mcc.nic.in; documents required

Try NowNEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to commence the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2024 counselling shortly. The MCC will publish a detailed NEET UG 2024 counselling notification and schedule soon on its official website, mcc.nic.in. As per reports, the NEET UG 2024 counselling date was scheduled to be announced on July 24.
Earlier, MCC had issued an official notice requesting medical colleges to submit the MBBS seat matrix on its official portal by July 20. On July 23, the Supreme Court announced that the NEET UG 2024 exam will not be cancelled.
NEET UG 2024 revised result soon
Following the court's decision, education minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced that the NEET UG 2024 final results would be announced within two days. The Supreme Court's ruling was based on the conclusion of an expert panel from IIT Delhi, which determined that the 'ambiguous' question had only one correct answer. Previously, the NTA had awarded four marks to candidates who provided one of the two 'correct' answers, which the Supreme Court has now deemed incorrect.
NEET UG 2024 Counselling: Documents required
Candidates will require the following documents for NEET counselling 2024.
- NEET Admit Card
- NEET Scorecard or Rank Letter
- Class 10 certificate and mark sheet (for date of birth)
- Class 12 certificate and mark sheet
- ID proof (Aadhar,PAN Card, Driving License, Passport)
- Eight passport size photographs
- Provisional allotment letter
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- PwD Certificate (if applicable)
AIQ NEET 2024 counselling
The MCC NEET Counseling 2024 will be conducted in four rounds. The AIQ NEET 2024 counseling will cover the following colleges and seats:
- 15% All India Quota seats for MBBS, BDS in states
- 100% open seats at BHU (MBBS and BDS)
- 100% open MBBS seats at AIIMS across India
- Open quota seats at JIPMER (Puducherry, Karaikal)
- Open quota seats at AMU
- 15% All India Quota seats at DU, IP University
- Open seats in the faculty of dentistry at Jamia Milia Islamia
- 15% All India Quota seats at ESIC
- 100% seats in deemed universities
- BSc Nursing programs in selected participating institutes
These seats are domicile-free. Deemed Universities have no reservations and only offer management and NRI quota seats.
