NEST 2023 registration soon; know new changes for merit list preparation
The registration process of NEST 2023 will begin soon at nestexam.in. A total of 257 seats will be offered in 5 year integrated M.Sc programmes through the NEST exam.

NEW DELHI: National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS) will soon release the NEST 2023 admission notification at the official website - nestexam.in.
Candidates should fill the application form of NEST by visiting the official website of NEST 2023. Applicants should fill and submit the NEST application form before the deadline.
To appear for the NEST 2023 exam, candidates must meet the prescribed eligibility criteria and fill the application form with their correct academic and personal details. Candidates can select upto 5 NEST exam centres 2023 while filling up the application form.
The National Entrance Screening Test is mainly divided into four sections - biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics. Each section is allotted 50 marks. Multiple choice questions are asked in the entrance test. Candidates must choose one answer from four options given in the entrance test.
NEST 2023: New changes
“The Section-Wise Minimum Admissible Score (SMAS) score of the best three subject scores from four subjects will be considered for the merit list preparation for NEST 2023 (for both NISER and CEBS). It was different in NEST 2022, where the SMAS of all four subjects were considered for preparing the NISER merit list,” reads the notification available on the official website. Earlier, the NEST merit list was prepared using the SMAS scores of all four subjects.

The NEST 2023 application fee can be paid through the credit card, debit card or net banking. The NEST 2023 application fee for a general/OBC (Male) candidate is Rs.1,200, while the other category students have to pay Rs 600.
