Download NowThe National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and the University of Mumbai – DAE Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS) has released the provisional answer key for the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST 2026). Candidates can download the NEST answer key 2026 from the official website, nestexam.in.
To download the NEST 2026 answer key, no login credentials are required. The answer key will be available in PDF format.
Students who are not satisfied with the NEST 2026 provisional answer key can raise objections through the official portal until June 12. No fee is required to challenge the provisional answer key.

The NEST 2026 entrance exam for admission to the five-year integrated MSc programmes in physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics at the NISER and UM-CEBS was conducted on June 6 from 2 pm to 5 pm across 140 exam centres in India.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the NEST 2026 answer key.
- Go to the official website, nestexam.in
- Click on the “NEST 2026 Questions with PROVISIONAL Answer Keys: Download PDF” link.
- The NEST 2026 answer key PDF will appear on the screen.
- Download the NEST provisional answer key and take a printout for future use.
A total of 261 seats are available for MSc admission, including 202 at the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) and 59 at the University of Mumbai – Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-CEBS).
