NISM establishes first regional center at GLA University

NEW DELHI, MARCH 17: GLA University, Mathura added one more feather in is plume when it was chosen as the first regional center of National Institute of Securities Market (NISM), an institution established by Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
Institute of Business Management, one of the constituent institutions of the university, hosted the registrar, G P Garg, of NISM recently who evaluated the institution on various parameters and was satisfied with regard to its suitability to serve as the test center of this prestigious entity.
NISM conducts various learning modules through which students are trained on various aspects related to the stock market and the banking sector. On successful completion of these modules, the students become better prepared in related knowledge which immensely helps them in landing career opportunities.
Prof A M Agrawal, Pro-vice-chancellor and Director of the institution, expressed his pleasure on this achievement and said that the establishment of this test center would act as a milestone with regard to preparing the candidates better as far as knowledge related to stock markets and banking sector is concerned.
