NMIMS Mumbai registrations for MBA in business analytics begin at nmims.nmat.in

NMIMS Mumbai Placement: The highest on-campus salary offered to the 2021-23 batch was Rs 26.13 lakhs per annum by Jio Platforms.
NEW DELHI: The SVKM’s NMIMS School of Business Management (SBM), Mumbai has announced the commencement of registrations for its MBA in Business Analytics (MBA BA) programme. Interested students can apply through the official website, nmims.nmat.in.
The two-year MBA BA programme offered by NMIMS SBM Mumbai is designed to cater to the rising demand for data-savvy professionals and the MBA BA curriculum consists of globally recognized reading materials and practical assignments. Students joining the programme will be given opportunities for industry projects and internships to add to their practical knowledge as per the institute.
According to the institute, the ‘Capstone’ simulation project in the last trimester includes students implementing their learning in a business scenario which allows students to be prepared for their professional journeys. Students will also be introduced to tools like Python, Tableau, SPSS, and more, in line with the industry’s demands.

The institute said that the highest on-campus salary offered in the final placements for the 2021-23 batch was Rs 26.13 lakhs per annum by Jio Platforms, and an average on-campus salary of Rs 17.85 lakhs per annum had been offered. 25 Fortune 500 companies participated in the placement drive, and there was also an international offer made from a Netherlands-based One2Ten company which offered the role of customer rating systems Power BI for the third year in a row.
Several new companies like Jio Platform, BNY Mellon, Vodafone, General Mills, Marsh & McLennan, and PWC hired for the first time for this batch. According to NMIMS, some of the major recruiters included Amazon, Cognizant, HCL, KPMG, Vodafone, and Yes Bank. The institute also stated that 30 percent of the batch secured Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) from their summer internship recruiters.

Students from the previous batches have been offered various roles such as credit analyst, product analyst, lead consultant, data visualisation specialist, consumer insights analyst, data science manager, business analytics associate, application engagement specialist, and market research analyst at blue-chip companies.
“ The summer placements for the 2022-24 batch, the highest stipend offered for two months was Rs. 1,60,000 by Yes Bank and Aditya Birla Capital. The average stipend increased by 20% to Rs. 73,000 for two months compared to the previous year” an official statement from NMIMS Mumbai read.
