OAVS Recruitment 2024: Application begins from April 1 at oav.edu.in; 1,342 vacancies notified

OAVS Recruitment 2024: The deadline for submitting the OAVS application form is April 30, 2024.
NEW DELHI: Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS) has issued a notification for the recruitment of various principals and teachers vacancies in the State. As per the official notification the OAVS application process will commence on April 1, 2024. Interested candidates will be able to apply for OAVS recruitment 2024 through the official website, oav.edu.in.
The deadline for submitting the OAVS application form is April 30, 2024. While, candidates can submit the OAVS recruitment application fees till May 2, 2024.
The OAVS recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 1,342 vacancies of teachers in various disciplines including PGT, TGT, Art Teacher, Computer Teacher, and others. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in computer-based test (CBT) followed by interview, and document verification.
OAVS Recruitment 2024: Application fees
Candidates belonging to general or unreserved category have to pay Rs 2,000 as OAVS recruitment application fees 2024.. Candidates from SC, ST and PwD candidates will pay OAVS application fees of Rs 1250 while for teaching posts, general category candidates will pay Rs 1,500 whereas SC, ST, and PwD candidates will need to pay Rs 1,000.

Interested candidate should be under 50 years of age and above 32 years of age for the post of principal. While candidates should be under 38 years of age and above 21 years for the all other posts except the post of Principal.
The examination will be held in a online and will be divided into four parts. All the questions will be in the Multiple Choice format and it will have 180 questions, each carrying one mark. Candidate will be given 180 minutes to complete the test. There will be a 0.25 mark deduction for each incorrect answer.
