OPSC PGT Recruitment 2024: Registrations begin for 1,375 vacancies; selection process

NEW DELHI : The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has commenced the registration process for OPSC Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) recruitment 2024. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for the OPSC PGT recruitment 2024 by filling the application form on the official website at opsc.gov.in. The last date to apply is March 2, 2024.
OPSC PGT recruitment drive intends to fill a total of 1,375 PGT vacancies. Out of the 1,375, 53 vacancies are reserved for Persons with Disability (whose permanent disability is 40% and more), 41 posts are reserved for ex-servicemen and 14 posts are reserved for sports persons.
Candidates applying for the OPSC PGT recruitment 2024 should not be more than 45 years of age and less than 21 years.
Upper age limit shall be relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), socially backward classes, women and ex-servicemen. Whereas Persons with Disabilities whose permanent disability is 40% and more are relaxed by 10 years.

OPSC PGT Recruitment 2024: Selection process
The OPSC PGT selection process consists of a written test (Paper I, II, III) followed by a personality test and interview. Paper I, II, and III carries 100 marks each. The duration of each paper is 2 hours and includes 100 questions. The interview round carries 30 marks.

Candidates can follow these steps to apply for the OPSC PGT recruitment 2024.
- Go to the official website at opsc.gov.in.
- On the homepage, click on the registration option.
- Fill the registration form by entering details such as name, email id, contact information.
- Next, login by entering credentials generated during registration.
- Fill in the application form with required details.
- Upload required documents and pay the fees.
- Download and take a printout of the confirmation page.
