Over 90 lakh students, more than 8 lakh teachers and around 2 lakh parents have registered so far.
NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 7th interaction programme with school students, teachers, and parents "Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024" has received over one crore registrations on the MyGov portal. The event will take place on January 29, 2024 in New Delhi. The last date to apply for PPC 2024 is January 12.
“Over one crore registrations show the extensive enthusiasm among students nationwide, eager to participate in this event and interact with the Prime Minister” said the education ministry.
“Two students and a teacher from each of the States and UTs and winners of the Kala Utsav and the Veer Gatha competition may be invited as special guests for the main event,” an official release from the education ministry said.
The online multiple-choice question (MCQ) competition is live for Class 6 to 12 students, teachers and parents to participate in the event. It has been running from December 11, 2023, to January 12, 2024, on the MyGov platform.

On the last day, January 23, which is the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, a painting competition will be organised in 500 districts across the country. The subjects will cover Chandrayan, India's sporting success, and other examples of how exams may be a Utsav of Life.
Around 2,050 candidates will be chosen based on their answers on the MyGov portal and will receive a unique Pariksha Pe Charcha kit that includes an exam warriors book in Hindi and English authored by the Prime Minister as well as a certificate.
The innovative interactive programme Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to tackle exam and life after-school anxieties with children, parents, and instructors from across the nation and beyond.
