Plaksha University tied up with Jefferies to launch Jefferies Finhub which will be used for developing financial data analytics and trading simulation tools
NEW DELHI: The Plaksha University has launched a new experiential learning centre called the Jefferies Finhub in association with Jefferies, an investment banking and capital market firm. Jefferies is a Plaksha corporate donor as well.
The Centre will be used for developing financial data analytics and trading simulation tools. With the help of the learning centre, students will get the opportunity to participate in capstones, guest lectures and internships. Jefferies Finhub has been created to offer trading simulation terminals in association with Refinitive which is a London Stock Exchange business.

Professor Rudra Pratap, founding Vice-Chancellor, Plaksha University, expressed his appreciation for this collaboration as it aligns with the vision of the university of reimagining technology education.
Aashish Agarwal, who is the Country Head of Jefferies in India, commented, “It is absolutely thrilling to witness that through Jefferies Finhub we have been able to create a space for students at Plaksha to develop expertise in analytics and tech in the finance domain. It is an excellent opportunity for students to access experiential technical education that will ultimately enhance their intellect, ideas, dynamism, and passion for learning about financial assets and markets.”
Plaksha University was established in 2019 and is located in Mohali, Punjab. The university offers programmes in subjects like artificial intelligence, robotics, data science and computing.
