Presidency University will send 5 students to ECE School each year; 30,000 Indian students to study in France by 2030
Presidency University Bengaluru has signed an agreement with the ECE Engineering School in France for a “strategic partnership”. This collaboration is to enhance student mobility and academic cooperation among the two institutions.
The core purpose of this partnership is semester exchange programmes. Five undergraduate students from each institution will be selected to spend a semester abroad. According to an official statement, Indian students will benefit from ECE Engineering School’s applied curriculum, which is relevant to research and industry. ECE students will experience Presidency University 's “forward-looking” academic environment and diverse community.
The Presidency University-ECE agreement also introduces dual Master’s degree programmes, which will allow students to earn qualifications from both institutions. A Pathway Programme is also introduced, letting students begin a Master’s programme in India, and complete the same in France, with academic credit recognition and the curriculum easing the transition.
