Candidates appearing for the NEET (UG) 2026 retest on June 21, 2026, will be provided free travel in DTC buses, as informed by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta today on the the X Account.

The National Testing Agency has extended the NEET UG 2026 examination fee refund deadline to submit bank details. Candidates who are eligible can submit their bank account details by June 22, 2026.

The Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut has slammed the Centre government over the reports about the Indian Air Force (IAF) being used in transporting NEET-UG examination papers. Raut comments that it reflects governance “failure”.

The Centre government is considering using the Indian Air Force (IAF) for the transportation of NEET-UG papers to ensure the foolproof conduct of the retest on June 21.  The authorities have tightened security measures following the NEET paper leak controversy, due to which the earlier exam was cancelled.

The Shiv Sena (UBT) leaders criticised the Centre over the NEET and CBSE examination processes. The Sena leader stated that the controversies had brought to light the “inefficiency” of the education system. Other than this, Party leaders Aaditya Thackeray and Sanjay Raut particularly aimed at the Union Education Ministry, demanding action against those who are responsible.

The NEET UG 2026 re-examination will be administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on June 21, 2026. The medical exam will take place in offline (pen-and-paper) mode from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. Students will get an extra 15 minutes to complete the paper.

The agency has extended till June 22 the deadline for submitting bank account details for the refund of the examination fee for NEET-UG 2026. The re-examination of NEET-UG 2026 on June 21, 2026.

The NTA has scheduled the re-NEET UG 2026 examination for June 21. The MBBS college entrance test will be held in a single shift from 2 pm to 5 pm.
