SSC CHT 2024 final result out on ssc.gov.in; 272 candidates shortlisted

Subscribe NowThe Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the final result for Combined Hindi Translators (JHT) exam 2024. A total of 1,736 candidates were shortlisted for the selection process for 272 vacancies. Candidates can check the SSC CHT result 2024 on the official website, ssc.gov.in. One candidate has been debarred from the examination.
The commission will upload the marks of the shortlisted candidates shortly. The allocated departments will conduct the further document verification process of the shortlisted candidates. The commission informed that if a candidate does not receive any correspondence from the concerned allocated user department within a period of six months from the declaration of final result, he or she must communicate immediately with the concerned department.
UPSC also asked candidates to report any discrepancy with respect to the selection, non-selection, post allocation etc. within a period of one month.

"No reserve list/ waiting list is prepared by the commission. Unfilled vacancies in the final result and vacancies arising out of non-joining of shortlisted candidates will be carried forward to the subsequent years of recruitment by the concerned departments/organisations," the commission stated.
SSC CHT 2024: Tie-resolving criteria
In case two candidates secured equal aggregate marks in SSC CHT paper 1 and paper 2, the following method has been used to resolve the ties:
- Total marks in Paper 2
- Marks in Part 1 of Paper 1 (General Hindi)
- Date of birth, with older candidates placed higher
- Alphabetical order of the names of the candidates

Allocation of posts and departments to the provisionally shortlisted candidates has been made on the basis of the performance of candidates in SSC CHT Paper 1 and Paper 2 and the preferences submitted by them. Aspirants who qualified paper 2 were allowed to submit options from June 9 to 14.
A total of 2,146 candidates were allowed to write paper 2 held on March 3, 2025, based on their performance in paper 1. SSC CHT 2024 paper 1 result was declared on February 14, 2025.
