SSC MTS 2025 exam dates announced; slot booking from January 15

SSC MTS 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on February 4, 2026. The admit card will be issued on ssc.gov.in.
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the exam date for Multi-Tasking (non-technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC and CBN) examination 2025. As per the schedule, the SSC MTS 2025 exam will be held on February 4, 2026, at various locations across the country.

According to the official notice, the SSC MTS self-slotting process will begin on January 15, 2026. Candidates can book their slot online at ssc.gov.in.
The authority has not yet announced the SSC MTS admit card release date. However, based on past trends, the hall ticket is expected to be issued in the second week of January 2026.
Candidates will be able to download the SSC MTS 2025 admit card by entering their valid registration number and password.

The application window for SSC MTS 2025 closed on July 24, 2025, and the correction window closed on August 6.
SSC MTS 2025 exam pattern
SSC MTS 2025 will be conducted as a computer-based test, while the Havaldar post examination will include a CBT along with a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) or Physical Standard Test (PST).
The exam will be conducted in two sessions on the same day. The question paper will include objective-type, multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and will be available in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages. The exam pattern is given below.

The SSC MTS exam duration is 45 minutes (60 minutes for candidates using a scribe). The question paper consists of a total of 90 questions—40 in session 1 and 50 in session 2—carrying a total of 270 marks (120 in session 1 and 150 in session 2).
As per the SSC MTS marking scheme, in session I, candidates are given +3 marks for each correct answer with no negative marking for wrong answers. In session II, +3 marks are given for each correct answer, and 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.
