The TN 10th Tamil exam will be held from 10 am to 1:15 pm. Students will get an extra 15 minutes to read the TN Class 10 question paper.
As per the TN 10th public exam time table 2026, the TN SSLC exam will be conducted from March 11 to April 6 in a single shift. About 9.09 lakh students will appear for the TN Class 10 public exam 2026. This includes around 8.82 lakh regular students and 26,196 private candidates.

The TN 10th Tamil exam will be conducted for 80 marks, while the remaining 20 marks will be awarded through internal assessment.
Tamil Nadu 10th public exam timings
According to the TN SSLC public exam guidelines, students should reach the exam hall and be seated in their assigned rooms by 9:30 am for exams starting at 10 am. The TN 10th Tamil question paper reading time will be from 10 am to 10:10 am.
Verification of particulars by students will take place from 10 am to 10:15 am. The exam will begin at 10:15 am and end at 1:15 pm.

Students are allowed to bring only basic stationery items into the exam hall, such as a blue or black pen, pencil, scale, and eraser.
Smartwatches, mobile phones, earphones, wireless devices, cameras, or any other electronic devices that can be used for communication or internet access are not allowed in the exam hall.
